Ascend Payments is a Silicon Valley based company which specializes in Credit Card Processing and Point-of-Sale services. Our goal is to provide peace of mind to the local business community. We achieve this by providing our customers with local service and support and solutions that save them time and money. We are expanding an outside sales team and looking to hire fearless B2B Sales Account Executives. Two years experience selling in a face to face / B2B role is required. This role includes a base pay, plus commissions and residual income. This is a great opportunity to sell GoTab and Clover Point-of-Sale in your local communities to Restaurant and Retail businesses!

About You

The ideal candidate is a natural hunter, has direct experience selling merchant services and thrives under pressure. MUST have a strong desire to exceed sales goals to maximize your earnings potential. Must have a hunters mentality...definitely not for the faint of heart, or those easily discouraged. You MUST be willing to HUSTLE every day.

Must Haves:

● Two years outside / face to face B2B Sales Experience *REQUIRED*

● Willing and able to perform and document 25+ in person cold calls every day

● Self-motivated, can operate independently and has a proven track record of success

● A strong personal and professional network with an active robust pipeline of owners and referral partners

● Can communicate clearly and precisely, both verbally and in writing

● High level of confidence with pricing conversations

● Comfortable “asking for the sale”

● Develop and maintain outstanding customer relationships

● Comfortable learning new tools and technology

● Ability to manage the sales cycle full circle

Expectations

● Perform daily outbound lead development activities including in-person cold calls and follow-ups, attending networking and local business association meetings, and by building relationships with potential referral partners.

● Take personal accountability for establishing and achieving prospecting and sales goals

● Update daily sales pipeline to stay organized and track all sales stages and progress

● Ability to maintain an understanding of product updates and offerings

● Working with integrity, a positive attitude, and being a team player at all times is an absolute must

Nice to Have

● Experience selling payment processing services

● Experience selling POS Systems to the Hospitality and Retail verticals

● Experience working remotely / independently

● Experience selling products or services to local restaurants and bars

Compensation Components Include:

● Monthly base pay ($2,400)

● New Account Bonus ($200)

● Goal Achievement Bonus ($350)

● Monthly Production Bonus ($500)

● Residual / ongoing revenue share on each new account

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
