We are currently seeking a talented Sales Executive and Team Leader for our remote sales team at The Omnia Group.
The ideal candidate should possess exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a strong focus on driving new revenue growth and building strong client and partner relationships. This role pays a base salary plus a commission. It requires outbound prospecting activities, and occasional overnight travel for in-person client meetings, speaking engagements, and tradeshow attendance.

SUMMARY:
As the Sr. Client Development Director and Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our company. This dynamic position combines individual sales responsibilities with team leadership and coordination. You will be responsible for both achieving personal sales targets as an individual contributor and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve their sales goals. Your exceptional sales skills, leadership abilities, and proactive approach to client acquisition will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Your primary responsibilities will combine generating new business sales of employee selection, management, and staff development tools, as well as overseeing the sales activities of the team. This also includes driving growth via building strong client and partner relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Individual Sales Contributions:
- Develop a deep understanding of our products and services, enabling you to effectively present and sell them to clients.
- Engage in outbound prospecting activities, including traveling for in-person client meetings, speaking engagements, and tradeshows.
- Proactively find new clients through direct sales methods, associations, referring partners, and other channels.
- Demonstrate strong sales skills, including pre-call strategy, objection handling, negotiation, and closing techniques.
- Conduct sales calls, presentations, and consultative meetings with prospects to generate new business and continually grow your book of business.
- Ensure the highest level of quality and service to our clients.
- Consistently meeting or exceeding personal sales targets.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities.
Team Leadership and Coordination:
- Provide visionary leadership to our sales team, inspiring and guiding them to achieve their individual and team sales targets.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, promoting knowledge sharing, skill development, and a customer-centric approach.
- Conduct regular team development and coaching sessions and provide constructive feedback to help team members reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, effective communication, and seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to drive team performance, revenue growth, and market expansion.
Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and execute effective account management strategies, focusing on client retention and long-term success.
- Support team members in resolving client concerns and addressing any issues that may arise, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Leverage your expertise to provide guidance and support in relationship building, negotiation, and problem-solving.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records of all prospect and account activities within Omnia’s CRM system, ensuring data integrity and effective sales pipeline management.
- Prepare regular reports, sales forecasts, and performance dashboards to provide insights and track progress against targets.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify areas for improvement and inform sales strategies and decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, including a proven track record of achieving personal sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver engaging presentations, build strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of sales methodologies and techniques, coupled with a strategic mindset and business acumen.
- Proven success in proactively finding new clients through outbound prospecting activities and various channels, including direct sales methods, associations, centers of influence, and referring partners.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales productivity tools.
- Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Results-oriented with a focus on driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to leverage data for insights and informed decision-making.
- A passion for continuous learning, staying up-to-date with industry trends, and sharing knowledge with the team.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Employee is required to sit, talk and hear, use hands for keyboarding and the telephone. Is also required to walk and to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Position requires ability to see computer screen.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is 100% remote with a preferred home office in the Tampa Bay/Florida area. Seasonal travel picks up quite a bit in the spring and fall. Most team meetings and sales calls are conducted virtually through Microsoft Teams. There are in-person Omnia Team and Company meetings occasionally throughout the year that employees are expected to attend. Teams sometimes choose to meet up in person from time to time, which is supported and encouraged by Omnia leadership.
