While many current positions have the option of working remotely, our offices are available for all employees to work from on a voluntary basis. We have beautiful offices in Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, and Boston, MA to accommodate employees in a hybrid or full-office setting.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
C+C's Multicultural Communications team is looking for a highly motivated and organized Senior Account Executive to lead and support the development of marketing initiatives for multicultural audiences through multiple communication channels. The successful candidate will have a 'do-what-it-takes' attitude, no matter the size or scope of the project or task at hand, and have a love for marketing, communication, and PR strategy, and a passion to make a difference among multicultural audiences to promote more equity and inclusion in marketing.
The SAE must be detail-oriented, work well in a fast-paced environment, and have strong project management, writing, and editing skills. Candidates should have bilingual fluency in English and either Spanish or Chinese.
Candidates should be located in or around the greater Seattle area, with a desire to build relationships with clients, community-based organizations, and of course, colleagues.
Responsibilities:
Work with internal and external teams, including cross-functional and sub-contractors, to plan, implement, and evaluate integrated PR and social marketing campaigns
- Own client relationships and develop marketing/communication/public relations strategy based on client goals and objectives.
- Lead and own relationships with community partners, including Community-based organizations (CBOs), community leaders, and faith-based organizations.
- Manage production of creative and transcreation projects or events (e.g. collateral materials, organizing staffing, securing supplies, etc.)
- Manage client budget and timelines.
- Write content for a variety of materials including press releases and media advisories, client talking points, messaging, newsletters, blog posts, etc.
- Pitch consumer and trade media and deliver placements and flawless story follow-through.
- Work with and lead internal account teams to meet client deadlines, including supervising junior staff in support of client work.
- Create high-level reports.
Qualifications:
- Four plus years of marketing and communications experience in an agency
- Great relationship skills with teammates and clients
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills
- Business-oriented mindset and client-first mentality
- Understanding of PR principles and tasks
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills in a rapidly moving and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Prior experience working with community organizations is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail
- Ability and love of multi-tasking; excellent organization skills
- Resourcefulness and a focus on seeing the work through to the end
- A four-year college degree, or equivalent experience
- Ability to work and maintain calm in a rapidly moving environment while being solution oriented.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
COMPENSATION
This is a full-time position with an annual salary range of $70,297 to $88,683 plus bonus. We provide a work from home set-up as needed.
