We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Sales Engineer to join our dynamic sales team. The Software Sales Engineer will play a critical role in driving our sales efforts by providing technical expertise, creating insights and topical sales materials, and collaborating with clients to understand their needs. This individual will act as a key liaison between our sales and engineering team in Atlanta and Barcelona, bridging the gap between technical solutions and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in software sales engineering or a similar technical sales role.
- Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development principles and technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide suitable solutions.
- Proficiency with SQL
- Ability to query APIs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess customer requirements and propose innovative solutions.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to travel as required for client meetings, conferences, and trade shows.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is preferred.
