Now Hiring - EMCOR (Connecticut) - Fabrication Sales Representative in Madison, WI

The Fabrication Sales Representative is responsible for working with customers seeking sheet metal fabrication and managing projects through the fabrication process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Actively pursue and acquire new fabrication business through developing and maintaining strong client, vendor, and co-worker relationships.
• Proactively cross-sell products and services to existing customer base as well as prospect for new business.
• Keep informed of industry trends, check on competitive activity, and develop new methods of attaining new business.
• Effectively communicate with customers and fellow IKM team members.
• Work closely with other members of sales, estimating, and project execution team.
• Review construction documents and understands scope of work to bid.
• Prepare and submit detailed proposals.
• Project manage awarded fabrication projects, including logistics.
• Work with contract administrator to manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the customer.
• Perform sales forecasting and planning.
• Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete project.
• Maintain up to date working and technical knowledge of all procedural and improvement changes to computer hardware and software applications.
• Actively works with superintendents and team leaders to improve processes and flow of production.
• Participates in department meetings as requested.
• Performs additional assignments as requested and maintains a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in HVAC/fabrication/production estimating or project management
• Have the ability to read and understand technical specifications, construction plans and contract requirements

• Duct fabrication and/or manufacturing experience is preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
