Vertical Sales and Marketing Director, Nanopositioning
ALIO Industries, LLC (Arvada CO)
The Vertical Sales and Marketing Director, Nanopositioning is responsible for managing the company’s distribution channels, and deployment of sales, of nanometer-level motion control products and systems globally.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Establishes strategic marketing and sales plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
- Develops and executes comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long-range, to support the sales and revenue objectives of the organization.
- Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize the effects of competitive activity.
- Ensures effective control of marketing results and takes corrective action to assure that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
- Assesses feasibility and leverages nano-positioning subject knowledge to align ALIO technology and capabilities with customer’s demands.
- Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
- Evaluates client requests to determine feasibility of timeframe, customization and cost effectiveness.
- Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
- Presents projections, short-term and long-term goals to executives to determine future product development and future markets.
- Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programs.
- Conveys nano-positioning customer requests to engineering staff to ensure technical customer requirements are met through customization.
- Manages and negotiates contracts with independent distributors and representatives.
- Directs channel development and coordinates sales channels by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
- Effectively utilize the domestic and international sales channels of the parent company.
- Represents company at trade association meetings to promote the company and its products.
- Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
- Meets with key customers, assists sales representative by maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals.
- Develops and manages marketing and sales operating budget.
Travel 20% international and domestic USA.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
- Five years of experience in high precision industry sales
