Are you ready to jumpstart your professional path in the insurance field? We’re actively seeking motivated individuals with a strong work ethic to join us as Entry-Level Health Insurance Sales Agents. Previous experience is not required – we will assist you in obtaining your Health Insurance license while providing compensation at a rate of $15/hour. You will have thorough training to equip you with the necessary skills to excel in your role.
Successful completion of the Health Insurance course, including passing a state exam within a specified timeframe, is required. Continued employment is contingent of passing the state exam. As an Entry-Level Health Insurance Sales Agent, your primary focus will be on driving Medicare Sales through professional and consultative selling of plan options.

Job Duties
- Receive inbound calls from customers who have questions on health insurance options for the states you are licensed with.
- Make outbound sales calls on a variety of sales campaigns.
- Advocate Apprenticeship will recommend plans and enroll prospects based on the customer's needs.
- Quote, present, and close sales while overcoming objections.
- Follow up on “book of business” on a consistent basis by making outbound follow up calls to prospects.
- Provide a positive customer experience with excellent customer satisfaction.
- Meet sales and productivity goals on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.
- Update customer file in CRM with summary of interaction.
- Comfortable with desktop computers, including knowledge of Office applications and web browsing.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring!
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
- Demonstrates adequate/accurate typing speed while talking to the customer.
- Demonstrate professional phone etiquette.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Self-starter who is highly motivated.
Our in-office training class start dates are July 10th and July 25th and will be Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (MST). Our office is located at 460 West 50 North, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, UT 84101.
