POSITION DESCRIPTION

Under the immediate direction of the General Manager, this position will manage the overall operations of the Las Vegas office. This position will be accountable for the management of employees, customers, and overall profitability of the portfolio of projects. The Branch Manager ensures employees are following all local rules and regulations in addition to all ATSSA (American Traffic Safety Services Association), OSHA, and DOT requirements in a way that meets or exceeds standards. They will be responsible for identifying potential growth and securing new contracts while maintaining the satisfaction of current customers. This role will play an integral part in ensuring that the office manages to the budget and operates profitably. Having a current customer portfolio and a firm knowledge of the area and customer base is essential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the overall profitability of the Location. This includes organizing and executing the business to meet and/or exceed established forecasted performance targets as well as provide insight and strategies to the business plan.
• Accountable for the overall management of Safety for the Location, employees, and customers. Review all reports and audit information. Provide strategy and implementation leadership for initiatives to improve safety performance and cultivate a “Zero Incident” safety culture.
• Responsible for implementing and managing systems, polices, and/or processes.
• Responsible for coordination and execution of projects.
• Coordinate financial and budget activities for maximum operational efficiency.
• Management of equipment maintenance.
• Understanding of Traffic Control and Traffic Signs.
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment for projects.
• Responsible for growing the business organically and addition of new clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in construction management or engineering or relevant field
• 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role
• Work experience in construction, road construction and road safety
• Relationships with current customers in the market
• Strong understanding of Las Vegas market and customer base
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

This position will be based in Las Vegas with occasional travel.
