Automotive Sales Consultant Responsibilities

• Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; inspecting automobiles
• Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport.
• Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics and capabilities.
• Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for the sale; price negotiating; completing sales or purchase paper work; explaining provisions; and delivering automobile.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
• Understands and can perform Finance responsibilities

Automotive Sales Consultant Qualifications

• Experience in car sales
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Tech Savvy
• Positive attitude and demeanor
• Strong listening and verbal communication skills
• Strong focus and desire to achieve sales goals
• Strong phone skills

Additional Compensation:

• Commission
