Essential Job Functions and Duties:
· Provide administrative support for the customer service and dispatch department supporting the Logistics business.
· Matching paperwork for daily manifests for deliveries and ensuring it gets to the warehouse department for pulling and staging of runs.
· Enter and retrieve information using computer systems and applications to update records, obtain information for others and respond to most questions and problems of internal and external clients.
· Provide directions for daily manifests – through pulling information from builder websites as well as provide phone-based support for drivers on the road completing daily deliveries.
· Answering inbound sales and customer support calls like Alorica, 24-7 Intouch, and Progressive· Spearhead setting up and facilitating interviewing and new hire activities for the facility.
· Complete ordering of facility supplies.
· Ensure that all communal spaces of the facility are maintained in a Customer ready state as well as ensuring proper stocking of communal areas.
· Utilize and maintain databases and spreadsheets using internal systems.
· Assist team members in their daily work activities as required.
· Carry out special projects as assigned.
· All other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
· 8am to 7pm Monday through Friday and some weekend availability
Qualifications:
· Bilingual (Spanish) is a huge plus
· Positive, can-do attitude
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent customer service, organizational and interpersonal skills
· Self-starter and able to work both independently and as a team member
· Passion for supporting a customer-oriented business environment
· Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and PowerPoint
· High attention to detail, exceptional accuracy, action-oriented, ability to work within stringent timelines and to collaborate across departments to achieve results
Preferred Qualifications:
· 1 years of experience in customer service/admin position in logistics industry, ideally last mile.
Work Environment:
· Office space, open cubical environment
· Ability to work at office work station on computer for a full 8-hour day
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
