Job Description

Our insurance office is looking for a confident and highly motivated individual that's interested in a great entry level telemarketer/ lead generator opportunity. As an entry level telemarketer/ lead generator you will make outbound calls to generate appointments and market insurance products or services within the community. Responsibilities

  • Solicits for new insurance quotes via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each prospect contact and update customer information.
  • Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
  • Prospecting and generating new leads & referral sources.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Be outstanding at relationship building.
  • Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
  • Call prospective customers by operating VOIP telephones, automatic dialing systems, and other internet technologies.
  • Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities.
  • Obtain prospects information such as name, address, vehicle information and enter into quote sheets.
  • Maintains phone time, quote transfers, and/or call volume as determined by management.
  • Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers.

  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
  • Must have ability to multi-task.
  • Must be awesome at opening doors and getting appointments from a cold start.
  • Must be highly self-motivated.
  • Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial.
  • Interested in a sales career, sales experience preferred
  • No insurance experience required but must be willing to learn
