We are a leading manufacturer and distributor of premium brand luggage and travel accessories, catering to the global market. Our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction has positioned us as a trusted brand in the travel industry. As we expand our operations in North American, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead our Costco/Walmart and Target sales division.
National sales manager specializing in brick and mortar especially with Costco, Walmart, and Target.
Primary task would be to oversee and manage the sales operations and strategies related to retailers above mentioned as your key accounts.
Specific tasks to focus on:
Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers at both the corporate and regional levels, both online and offline as well as understand their business objectives, strategies, and requirements.
Sales Planning: Work with your team to create an effective sales plan specifically tailored to retailer’s needs. Set sales targets, develop pricing strategies, and allocate resources to maximize sales and profitability.
Product Placement and Promotion: Collaborate with retailer's merchandising teams to ensure optimal product placement within stores. Develop promotional plans and coordinate marketing activities to increase brand visibility and drive sales.
Negotiations and Contracts: Participate in contract negotiations with Costco, ensuring favorable terms for your company while maintaining a mutually beneficial partnership. Monitor contract compliance and resolve any issues that may arise.
Data Analysis: Utilize sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth, optimize pricing strategies, and improve product performance. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report regularly to senior management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as marketing, finance, operations, and supply chain to align strategies, share insights, and address any operational challenges related to retailers.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to your sales team, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet sales targets. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and facilitate training and development opportunities.
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and retailer's business environment. Identify emerging market opportunities and potential risks and adapt your sales strategies accordingly.
Trade Shows and Events: Represent your company at trade shows, industry events, and Costco-specific conferences to network, showcase products, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Job Types: Full-time, Commission
Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
