Responsibilities
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Director of Change Management, the Change Management Specialist will play a key role in developing the change management strategy and the underlying change plans for projects. This role will focus on the people side of change, including business processes, systems and technology. The Change Management specialist will work to drive adoption, utilization and proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the day-to-day project change activities by applying a structured change methodology, supporting the design, development, delivery and management of communications and providing input into the design and delivery of training initiatives.
- Collaborates with Project, Communications and Learning leads to develop a detailed engagement plan resulting in a high level of user adoption.
- Provides change management leadership, direction and guidance to individuals impacted by the change, project management team, leaders and executive sponsors.
- Prepares approaches and delivers activities to measure readiness and adoption for change.
- Creates actionable deliverables for the key change management levers, including sponsorship, coaching and resistance management.
- Participates with the Director of Change Management in the creation of change management strategies for projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5 years of change management experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with HCM Workday implementations or other large-scale organizational change preferred
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- A solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process
- Excellent communications and active listening skills
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
- Prosci or ACMP preferred.
