American Stainless is a growth-oriented, specialty-metals distributor. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Inside Sales Representative. A successful candidate will be someone who is self-motivated to learn and enjoy the metals industry, and can perform well both individually and as part of a team.

Position Summary: The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales with new customers, as well as maintaining and building relationships with an assigned portfolio of existing accounts. You will work directly with the Sales Manager to target and strategize growth opportunites in your accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maximize relationships with customers.
• Maneuver order entry systems and proceedures.
• Display basic industry and product knowledge.
• Negotiate with customers to close sales.
• Expand customer base and establish long-term business relationships.

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow.

Preferred requirements:

• 2+ years experience in a sales enviornment.
• Team player attitude.
• Business related computer skills.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
