The Account Executive provides a personal, helpful, and simple customer experience to clients (banks and other financial institutions). Working closely with members of the Sales team, the Account Executives help with onboarding and training new customers as well as working to maintain an overall positive relationship.

Account Executive, using sound judgment and discretion, strives toward improving and maintaining customer relationships and satisfaction by:

• Resolving operational issues, generally complex in nature (e.g., accounting, settlement) via phone and e-mail
• Managing bank on-boards (e.g., review documents received from bank, like legal agreements, reviewing institution information form for completeness and accuracy per legal and Bank of New York Mellon’s requirements, training customers on how to navigate in the customer Portal, and training customers to manage all operational aspects of our services)
• Managing bank mergers (e.g., assist acquired and acquiring banks to shift ownership of bank customers’ accounts and balances)
• Handling bank failures (e.g., communicate with FDIC and failed bank to ensure both parties have information to close bank books and assist banks with failed bank’s customer money)
• Staying fully knowledgeable of IntraFi Network’s operations in order to accurately respond to bank customers’ questions (e.g., How do you calculate interest accruals and fee income in CDARS vs. ICS?” “What are RateBridge Payments and how are they calculated?” “FDIC regulators are in the office; can you help us explain these reports?” “Can you help us verify that we set up our shadow accounts and other parameters appropriately in preparation for our upcoming integration testing?”)
• Initiating bank operational calls, webinars, and trainings
• Entering customer interactions in the Customer Relations Management system
• Identifying sales opportunities while interacting with customers and escalating opportunities to sales
• Collaborating with internal departments (e.g., sales, information technology, and marketing) to enhance customer satisfaction
• Handling CDARS match limit exceptions which involves immediately reaching out to the bank whose deposit placement exceeds our limit, requesting an exception to our limit to the match team, and circling back with bank with the match team’s decision before the match submission deadline
• Staying current on financial / banking industry, company products and services, and client services-related procedures, practices, and technology
• Working on client services projects, as needed, to improve customer satisfaction and improving client services’ operational efficiency
• Participating in new employee mentorship and training
• Backing up bank integration team as needed
• Other duties as assigned by manager

• Basic knowledge of finance

• Intermediate knowledge of accounting and banking concepts and banking operations relative to IntraFi’s products and services

EDUCATION: List the basic (minimum) education, certification, and/or licensing needed to be successful in the position.

Bachelor’s degree and 2-5years of experience

EXPERIENCE IN LIEU OF DEGREE:

Eight years of applicable experience in addition to the required years of experience.

PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

This position is in a corporate office setting, requiring working at a desk in front of a computer display for extended periods of time.
