The Sales & Marketing Technology Director will oversee a portfolio of products enabling technology capabilities and business outcomes in support of the company's Sales & Marketing strategies. S/he will be responsible for fostering business relationships across Sales & Marketing teams, facilitating technology demand/intake, prioritiz-ing technology backlog, defining technology budgets, fostering innovation and working with other technology leaders to deliver within an agile framework. The leader must also act as a coach and mentor, within their respec-tive teams and across the technology organization, as it relates to technology product management best practic-es. The leader will oversee a technology “Value Stream” centered around the company’s Sales & Performance Marketing technology capabilities with dedicated engineering team members to deliver against the technology backlog.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Facilitate and lead product management framework within a technology value stream owner support structure – a high number of critical Sales & Marketing technology capabilities.

  • Define capacity by role and develop a way to track capacity expenditure per project to ensure that we spend our critical capacity on the most important projects, identify capacity constraints and inform future resourcing needs.

  • Participate in overall sales and marketing project strategy and works closely with the EPMO and the technology team to make sure the execution of the strategy is on par. Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity.

  • Collaborates with brand leaders (within and outside the technology organization) to establish and maintain a technology roadmap through a deep understanding of the current state and target strategy.

  • Foster an innovative, inclusive, and diverse team environment and partnership amongst internal teams in a manner that promotes collaboration and partnership outside of the organization. Works in conjunction with IT, risk management, compliance, auditing, and physical security personnel to promote a cohesive ISP.

  • Responsible for overseeing the efforts within the sales and marketing value stream by strategizing, implementing, and maintaining Value stream priorities and initiatives that are consistent with organizational objectives.

  • Provides direct leadership to the information team by setting, communicating, and modeling high standards of performance and professionalism, developing and maintaining a high level of work ethic and personal credibility with staff, and demonstrating consistent, sound judgment.

  • Apply creative problem-solving skills to technology efforts in a way that satisfies business leaders needs and lays the groundwork for future successes, communicate technical architecture, technology strategy, and standards/processes in a concise and easily understood format by both technical and non-technical personnel, ensures that key artifacts (documentation, definitions, processes, policies, etc.) are created, controlled, managed, and maintained over time.

  • Recruit top-performing talent who fit the culture of the team and the company; engage them and align their individual career aspirations with the organization's goals to create a whole that is more than the sum of its parts.

  • Manages the innovation agenda and processes creating ongoing opportunities to inspire new thinking and implementing test and learn plans to scale new technology and sales & marketing advances.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree in the preferred field of study in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technology related area.

  • At least 5+ years of progressive experience managing a portfolio of sales & marketing technology products, operational support & agile innovation.

  • Familiar with Sales & Marketing technologies - must possess communication, analytical, multitasking, attention to detail, project management, and problem-solving skills.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience scaling marketing & sales technology and the ability to work as part of a team with learning/adaptability skills, and a strong desire to motivate and encourage those around them.

  • Experience managing multiple, simultaneous, significant information security related initiatives and responses. Ability to work with little supervision.

This is a hybrid work schedule requiring any interested candidate to be open to coming into the office M-W with Thur-Fri being flex/remote days.
