Shelving Inc. is looking for an energetic and experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our company. This position is responsible for prospecting and generating new business opportunities within a designated territory. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is willing to work hard.

Job Responsibilities

• Selling our products and provide product information by responding to customers inquiries via phone and email
• Identify, contact, and develop customer contacts; build relationships with key business partners in your territory; and qualify new business opportunities.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities by following up with prospects and partners.
• Work with sales engineers to understand opportunities in the marketplace and identify solutions that will help the company achieve its goals.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activity, progress, and opportunities.
• Participate in internal meetings to review overall business performance, strategic plans, and other departmental initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of inside sales experience in a technology company or related field preferred.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Computer skills required for this position: required for knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) essential; Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
