Rx Strategic Account Executive, Enterprise Sales
The Rx Field Sales Team is seeking a Rx Strategic Account Executive of Enterprise Sales to support our Government and Enterprise Strategic Account team who will fuel the sales growth of our strategic enterprise focus of the McKesson Medical Surgical Rx Portfolio by providing vital sales expertise, detailed account analysis, delivery of growth tools, new product launch and initiative communications to our Government and Enterprise Strategic Account teams and customers. You will have specific financial growth responsibility (sales revenue and/or gross profit goals), will focus on increasing Rx sales through focused customer interaction and by providing sales expertise to our field sales organization and customers. You will be the embodiment of our commitment to growth acceleration and being "easy to do business with". The ideal candidate will have a passion for being part of the sales process, collaborating with sales teams and those that manage the Rx categories, a creative thinker and problem solver and also providing sales expertise and value to our customers.
This role will be responsible for selling the value of the Rx product category in McKesson Medical-Surgical's (MMS) largest Government and Enterprise Strategic Account team accounts. This requires knowledge of the customers' needs, RFP process and how to respond to those needs. Responsible for achieving sales goals of new and increased Rx revenue each year. Also responsible for gross profit improvement goals for existing customers.
This position is remotely located within the lower 48 states and has estimated travel of 40% throughout the U.S.

$150,000 - $250,000

Rx Strategic Account Executive, Enterprise Sales

Responsibilities:
- Prepare Rx pricing quotes for new business in MMS's largest Government and Enterprise Strategic Account team accounts and confirm profitability for these pricing quotes with a finance approved ROI. Output is in partnership with the Enterprise team.
- Present MMS Rx val prop to prospective Government and Enterprise Strategic Account team (audience is the Customer decision makers). Travel to be in front of customers with national coverage - present, give feedback and answer questions
- Establish relationships with key Rx stakeholders within customers and prospect accounts
- Maintain existing Rx business within key accounts and target net new Rx customers to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals
- Proactively work with the Government and Enterprise Strategic Account team to target Rx opportunities, attend customer business reviews and other targeting efforts.
- Coordinate with marketing and category management teams on collaborative selling efforts
- Analyze and present Rx margin improvement initiatives for current business in MMS's largest accounts.
- Maintain Rx pricing, margins, and item formularies for assigned key accounts.
- Managing a new business funnel and report on progress toward revenue goals.
Preferred Qualifications:- 4-year degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 6 years of sales experience; preferably in the field of healthcare; with a proven track record of success against financial/sales goals and vaccine product knowledge
- Experience with Government accounts and large, strategic account selling
- Ability to take ownership, influence others, and drive sales process from inception to close
- Proven experience working in complex situations and negotiating with senior level decision makers
- Ability to strategically build relationships with sales leadership, customers, and internal business partners
- Capable of learning new and/or complex products and processes quickly to facilitate in the new product launch process
- Ability to train and educate the sales force on product offering
- Solid understanding of cost and margin structures.
- Ability to manage complex spreadsheets.
- Enthusiastic about speaking in front of groups of colleagues and customers. Able to develop PowerPoint presentations and present.
- Located remotely. Must be willing to travel a minimum of 40%. Valid driver's license required.
