Full description of the position
Dr. Schar USA is looking to add a Sales Operations Manager to our team in Swedesboro, NJ. Accountable for full order cycle, processing projects, managing databases, performing market research, analyzing consumer trends, and supporting the Sales teams administrative requirements. Responsible for food safety, quality, government regulations, and SQF Guidelines and reporting deviations to key authorized personnel.
Managing the department (applicable only to management positions)
- Hire, train, promote, manage and discipline direct reports, and their staff
- Ensure the collaboration between Sales, Logistics, Marketing and Accounting optimal performance
- Coordinate with the Sales and SC team to ensure proper communication of inventory/stock levels, concerns and delivery updates
- Plan, forecast, analyze and deliver performance vs. KPIs accordingly including turnover, volume, etc.
- Manage an efficient customer service and punctual payment receipts
Responsibilities/tasks
- Define price policy and sales conditions according to key indicators
- Assist in the negotiation of terms and conditions of shipment, payment, and conclusion of distribution contracts
- Manage customer contracts and communicate the need for revision or renegotiation
- Monitor Order to Cash process through AR ledger
- Responsible for blocking customers and/or orders when appropriate, and the full communication thereof
- Review of contracts to performance/promotions
- Monitor payments to support general dunning
- Ensure customers are invoiced properly
- Assist in organizing company and department meetings and events.
- Project Management
- Manage promotional / sales tool administrations
- Maintain Customer and broker specific documents and Contracts (COI, W9, etc.)
- Manage the collection and communication of all sales forecasting information to SCM
- Facilitate regulatory requirements from customers and brokers (food quality certifications, etc.)
- Create and Maintain department SOPs
