Full description of the position

We are looking for an upbeat, compassionate person for our front desk/retail space at our holistic dental spa. You will act as the ‘face’ of our wellness/ multi-specialty center and ensure visitors receive a heartwarming welcome. You will answer calls, make appointments, and explain services offered in the dental hygiene spa department and sell supplements. Our ideal candidate can deal efficiently with customers and has a solid customer service approach. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our front desk provides professional and friendly service to our customers. Dental experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure front desk is tidy and has all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and informative leaflets)
• Check in / check out patients
• Make appointments for cleanings and whitening services
• Ensure timely and accurate customer service
• Handle specific customers requests
• Work collaboratively with the rest of the team
• Monitor front office supplies
• Do inventory with the manager
• Suggest product promotions and implement seasonal specials.

Skills

• Proven work experience in retail: 1 year preferred
• Good computer skills (e.g. Computers and printers)
• Thorough knowledge of customer service and basic bookkeeping/inventory procedures
• Proficiency in English (oral and written)
• Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word or equivalent like Google Sheets or Numbers (Mac)
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities
• Problem-solving skills
• High School diploma; additional certification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
