Job Summary

This role reports directly to the home technology & integration (HTI) CEDIA channel General Manager. The Dealer Account Specialist directly supports SWF’s initiative to grow market share within the CEDIA (consumer electronics design and installation) dealer channel. This role directly supports the GM and National Director of Sales to manage all aspects of dealer onboarding and provide account support as an account specialist. Duties include managing following ups and processing dealer paperwork, credit applications, dealer orders, providing dealer onboarding orientation, and lead dealer portal training over Zoom. Additionally, this role will handle delegated dealer follow-up calls and work closely with the field-based sales organization to ensure dealers have proper internal support, training, and onboarding support.


Job Duties

  • Facilitate and manage HTI dealer onboarding
  • HTI department administrative responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage correspondence with new dealers’ accounts approved to be onboarded
  • Manage and follow-up on new dealer paperwork, credit app, and tax-exempt forms
  • Submit all new account profiles to be set up in the system by onboarding
  • Communicate account info to the new Dealer and Territory Sales Manager
  • Assist dealer account with placing sampling orders for Territory Sales Managers/Dealers
  • Offer support between Customer Service and requested samples
  • Email Territory Sales Manager sample requests
  • Submit credit and follow up with account credits
  • Run and distribute various monthly reports
  • Process dealer account rebates
  • Perform dealer account maintenance by updating any changes requested ie: shipping and contact info.
  • Assist National Sales Director, Territory Sales Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and others with daily tasks
  • Respond to daily calls, emails, and messages via Teams
  • Research Dealer orders and follow up on credit holds
  • Act as a key point of contact between HTI (CEDIA) channel sales team, product management, dealer marketing, dealer training, and several cross-functional departments to implement and execute CEDIA channel-focused marketing projects.

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with consumer products and customer service preferred.


Skills, & Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Effective presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Consistent attention to detail, urgency, and quality.
  • CEDIA channel sales experience is a plus.
