We are looking for a passionate and experienced Venue Sales Manager to join our dynamic team to support the growth of our beautiful spaces.

About the Role

  • Drive growth by actively engaging in new business solicitation through outside sales calls, effectively responding to client inquiries, and nurturing relationships with the existing Landmark Event Co. client base.
  • Clearly convey all products, services, policies, and procedures to potential and existing clients, ensuring they are well-informed and confident in their choices through timely and articulate communication.
  • Create event proposals, contracts, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), floorplans, and other vital event documentation while staying organized for seamless event execution.
  • Conduct engaging and informative venue tours for potential and current clients, ensuring venues are consistently maintained in impeccable condition to leave a lasting impression.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen and operations teams, ensuring flawless coordination of all menu and logistical details for each event order.
  • Provide effective leadership and direction to facilities teams when required, empowering them to deliver top-notch services and maintain the highest standards of efficiency and professionalism.
  • Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of event execution by offering insightful suggestions for best practice procedures and programs while staying informed about sales trends to provide informed recommendations for new services and product development.

About You

  • 4+ years of experience in event management with at least 1 years of experience in catering sales.
  • Proven venue management experience with strong knowledge of event logistics for weddings, corporate events and outdoor venues.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced sometimes high-stress environment.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Advanced computer skills with strong proficiency in Google Suite; exposure to HubSpot Sales and Caterease event planning programs or similar a plus.
