Our team at Gateway Logistics, Inc. is looking to add confident, committed, and collaborative Carrier Sales Representatives to our next hiring class!

We're a little different than the 'other guys in town' you've heard of. Our split-model brokerage allows you to focus on providing best-in-class service booking loads, developing relationships, and problem solving with quality carriers; all while our customer sales team handles the customer side of things. Also, as a smaller, more agile company you will have more room to grow and make a huge impact on our business, you won't be anonymous here!

The Day-to-Day:

• Develop a base of carriers by building relationships over the phone.
• Negotiate rates for profitability with dispatchers/drivers when booking loads.
• Collaborate with our customer sales team to find the best transportation option for our customers.
• Communicate with drivers throughout the pickup and delivery process.
• Problem solve when issues arise with our carriers on the road.
• Follow our safety procedures to ensure we are doing business with highest quality carriers.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years 3PL experience preferred but not required- we provide training from the ground up!
• GED required
• College degree preferred but not required
• Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred
• Build and maintain relationships with people over the phone.
• Self-motivated and dedicated.
• Team player and strong communicator

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
