Job Summary
The Director, Impact Investing for Raymond James Affordable Housing Investment, Inc (RJAHI) leads and executes on RJAHI’s Impact Investment strategy. The Director has a passion for strategy and advances and drives RJAHI’s Impact Investment initiatives. They will play an integral role in the expansion of RJAHI’s investment offerings to include structuring, capital raising, negotiating and management of clients. The position is 100% in office and based in at St. Petersburg, FL office. RJAHI is a subsidiary of Raymond James Financial that sponsors investments in affordable apartment properties throughout the United States. RJAHI is one of the nation’s leading sponsors of affordable housing equity funds and include major U.S. Corporations as investors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a strategy and growth plan for Impact Investment for RJAHI.
- Initiate and implement a plan to build relationships within RJAHI and institutional investors and ensure alignment with Raymond James core values.
- Establish goals, KPIs and evaluations metrics to be tracked and communicated with leadership/management.
- Develop marketing materials related to Impact Investment Strategy for RJAHI to share with client.
- Maintains a high commitment to client service.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Reviews progress of assignments and the status of key investments with executive leadership/management.
- Balances conflicting resource and priority demands.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
- Company’s working structure, policies, mission, and strategies.
- Advanced concepts, principles, and practices of LIHTC preferred.
- Principles of banking and finance and securities industry operations.
- Financial markets and products with a focus on Impact.
Skill in:
- Advanced MS Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel) skills.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Strong financial analysis and outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Forward thinking with a demonstrated track record of successfully developing and implementing strategic plans calling for substantial asset growth
- Cultivating and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
Ability to:

Education/Previous Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related field and a minimum ten+ (10+) years of real estate experience. Masters in Business Administration (MBA) highly preferred. Or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
