Inside Sales Representative
As our Auburn, MA location prepares for facility expansion and record growth, we are looking for a professional, experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our team.
The Inside Sales Representative will be working with our existing customer base as well as prospecting for new customers. Our ideal candidate is an ambitious individual with outstanding communication skills who understands the value of exceptional customer service and driving business goals. For the right candidate, this position could offer future career growth opportunities in Field Sales and/or Sales Management.

Day-to-day Tasks and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Provide premier customer service to differentiate Corrosion Materials from our competition.
- Develop sales strategies that focus on profitable sales growth both with existing customers and potential customers.
- Formulate quotes for potential business with new or existing customers.
- Provide higher-level depth of relationships with customers including in-person visits and activities.
- Develop forecasting methods to work together with customers and establish accurate material forecasts.
- Research, identify, and implement new products and programs to enhance profitability.
- Establish strong communication between Inside and Field Sales, Purchasing, and other functions within the organization.
- Adhere to all CMI safety rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Adhere to all CMI handbook policies, procedures, and business codes of ethics.
Required Qualifications for this Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three or more years of sales experience
- Market experience, ensuring ability to recognize opportunities
- Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving skills, and time management skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work independently on assigned tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to transfer data accurately
- Strong work ethic; self-motivated
- Operate with high integrity, maintaining positive relations with co-workers, customers, and suppliers
Preferred Qualifications for this Position:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related area
- Five or more years of sales and marketing experience
