We are seeking a dynamic, high-performing Inside Sales Representative with a successful track record of selling software solutions to small & medium business customers. The ideal candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives and help us move towards our target of safer driving. They must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales. This role will report directly to the VP of Sales, an industry expert passionate about building high-performing sales teams. This is an exciting opportunity to influence Nauto's overall success and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and proactive outbound sales outreach
- Close deals remotely for small and mid-sized fleets, including the development of activities to present the value proposition to potential clients through remote channels (e.g., virtual demos, video conferencing, online chat, phone calls)
- Proactively research accounts, identify key players and generate interest and maintain and expand our customer database in Salesforce
- Identify and develop new channels to generate inbound leads
- Partner with Customer Success Manager, Sales Engineer, and Business Development Rep. to collaborate on client goals, solutions, progress, and outcomes to drive revenue
- Consistently exceed your quarterly and annual sales quota
What we are looking for:
- Must have 2+ years of successful software inside sales experience with a proven track record of selling software solutions to small and medium-sized customers
- BDR or SDR experience preferred
- Business, customer, and results orientation, with a short-term tactical vision and ambition to generate a healthy portfolio
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Capacity for multitasking
- Familiarity with digital channels and handling of standard computer tools from a remote sales channel
- Mission-oriented - i.e., safety impact - and able to convey the overall change story/narrative
- High-level understanding of telematics, fleets, operations-focused businesses, or automotive-related software background is a plus.
- A strong team player but still a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying partner needs. You should be a strong storyteller with the ability to set expectations with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the sales process.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$120,000 + commission split + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US, remote locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
