We’re looking for a Solutions Consultant to join our growing Solutions Consulting team!

Reporting to Solutions Consulting Management, the Solutions Consultant is responsible for supporting the Sales, Partnerships, and Post-Sales departments as a technical resource. This a role that works very interdepartmentally and is tasked with becoming an expert in all things Tapcart. The Solutions Consultant also helps with technical enablement across the organization and works with our customers and partners (both agency and technical) to ensure they are set up for success with our standard platform and technical products. This role is a master of many trades and works across many departments and consequently makes a large impact across the organization.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

    • Assist our Sales and Partnerships team in technical discovery with use cases or product requirements that are “outside the box”
    • You’re flexible and a jack of all trades. As the second SC and with a new technical product on the way, we’re still figuring out the balance between Pre-Sales and Post-Sales. The ideal candidate is comfortable in either of these environments and willing and able to wear a variety of hats.
    • Assist with selling and supporting technical products including Custom Blocks and DX both pre and post sale.
    • Manage the scoping and definition for any statements of work for customer-specific customizations.
    • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Product and Customer Success to ensure technical and functional accuracy.
    • Set appropriate expectations with customers in regards to timing and scope.
    • Share selling and technical expertise with the rest of the Tapcart team, both formally and informally.
    • Provide feedback to Product Management from our customers’ perspective as collected through sales presentations and technical discovery sessions.

WHAT SKILLS YOU’LL NEED

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related field
    • 1+ years of experience as a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer (or equivalent role) at B2B SaaS company
    • General understanding of how API’s work and and desire to understand the details of how a number of e-commerce apps interface with each other
    • Detail oriented and able to document and scope out solutions that can then be passed to colleagues in post-sales.
    • Highly collaborative and able to work interdepartmentally.

BONUS IF YOU HAVE

    • Experience working at a Shopify technology partner company
    • Have a good understanding of the eCommerce or Shopify ecosystem
    • Intermediate experience with HTML/CSS/JS
$120,000 - $160,000 a year
