What you'll do:
As the Sales Operations Analyst, you drive world-class standards across our sales process and policies in a highly collaborative role. This role will be responsible for providing critical support in managing and optimizing sales processes, systems, and data analysis. Your focus will be on improving sales efficiency, enhancing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and has a passion for driving sales effectiveness. Success in this role will be based on your ability to foster strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, knowledge of modern sales tools, and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams to drive results.
This person will own sales KPIs, commissions and the day-to-day sales support that comes with opportunity management. You’ll be the driver for a sales support ticketing queue adhering to business approved SLAs, while using email to case functionality and/or JIRA.
Responsibilities:
Design and optimize processes and workflows to empower sales representatives and leaders, ensuring efficient operations- Respond promptly to sales support inquiries, providing solutions and developing operational procedures to manage workload effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce friction and ensure consistency in policies, processes, and governance
- Create and maintain operational reports, alerts, and dashboards to monitor business performance
- Ensure data accuracy across the sales tech stack to optimize analysis and overall performance
- Engage with user communities, vendors, and analysts to stay updated on industry best practices and enablement
- Take ownership of monthly sales and commission reporting
- Provide transparency to sales regarding commission structures, including tiers, accelerators, decelerators, and overall compensation plans
- Act as a subject matter expert on commission and opportunity management-related inquiries
- Collect, validate, and analyze sales data, including pipeline metrics, conversion rates, win/loss analysis, and sales performance metrics
- Offer meaningful insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve sales strategy and execution
- Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies, pricing models, and incentive programs
- Develop and maintain sales processes, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) • Document best practices and provide guidance to the sales team to ensure adherence to processes
- Proactively identify opportunities for sales optimization and enhance overall sales effectiveness • Drive process improvement initiatives and lead cross-functional projects for successful implementation of changes.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels
- Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes and strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Proactive and self-motivated with a drive for continuous learning and professional development
- 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Consulting, or Sales Support
- Proficiency in SaaS sales tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, Clari, Gong, Lean Data, ZoomInfo, and similar
- Process-oriented with the ability to effectively engage sales team users, instilling trust and confidence
- Proficiency in reporting, data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, or similar.
- Proven track record in managing impactful projects and programs across teams with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
