Full description of the position

Well established textile company specializing in denim located in the South Bay area has an immediate opening for a Sales Manager position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective marketing and merchandising to specific /appropriate customers with keen knowledge of denim retail and premium denim lines-fabrication, fits, washes and details
  • Execute dynamic cross marketing to encourage increase sales while monitoring merchandise performance to maximize sales opportunities
  • Understands trends and forecasting and applying to appropriate customers
  • Develop and manage the promotion of our brand with wholesale retailers
  • Solicit orders, process & order maintenance
  • Manage existing accounts and help increase/drive sales
  • Develop new customer accounts for existing merchandising programs
  • Analyze sales data and provide sales reporting
  • Travel for customer meetings, prospecting, and trade shows

Skills Required:

  • Prior private labels sales experience
  • Strong background in sales & sustaining/building relationship with retail buyers and merchants.
  • Extensive knowledge of apparel wholesale and retail industry with excellent marketing and merchandising skills - denim/denim related preferred
  • Must be results driven
  • Receptive, adaptative, detail oriented and action oriented
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Retail math and costing
  • Analytics to access sales activity and various merchandising reports
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Mac & PC

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
