Full description of the position

We are looking for an Event Manager/Content Creator/Sales Associate/Inventory Assistant for Darling Boutique, specializing in curated consignment and local artisan goods.

Able to start August of 2023.

This position is full time and designated for a LONGTERM employee, NOT seasonal help.

  • Organization and communication skills for event coordination
  • Competency with social media, computer based point of sale systems, Google drive & Google sheets
  • Must be able to easily make small talk and chat with customers & consignors
  • Must have an eye for current styles and trends
  • Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours a day and must be able to lift and change mannequins as well as moving large quantities of clothes on hangers
  • Must be competent in movie/content creation on all social media platforms
  • Must feel comfortable acting in reels and other content

    • Tasks/Duties:

    • Content Creation
    • Event organization and managing all event related communication and marketing
    • Shop organization & merchandising of new secondhand inventory
    • Assist with inventory processing
    • Select secondhand items from consignment appointments to feature in the shop based on current styles, trends, cleanliness, wear, etc.
    • Managing customer engagement and register transactions using all forms of payment
    • Dressing room management and shop floor organization
    • Managing communication coming in from various platforms (email, phone, social media)
    • Receiving and processing online orders for pick up or shipping
    • Independently manage daily social media tasks and posts through Instagram through a multi app / multi step social media posting process

    Must be 18 or older to work at our business.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
