Full description of the position

In this position, you would have the opportunity to develop your own sales territory by maintaining relationships with current customers and bringing in new ones to drive business. You will be an ambassador of our company, becoming a trusted face to our customers while also adhering to company values and policy. As a member of our team, you will use your strong interpersonal skills to provide service and support to our customers.

Duties

• Promote Stonex Tile product lines
• Have basic knowledge of natural stone, porcelain tiles and SPC vinyl tiles
• Work independently yet cooperatively with the company and team's goals
• Service existing accounts to nurture relationships and increase sales.
• Identify and set up new accounts
• Set up and maintain client displays and merchandising samples
• Keep clients informed about new products
• Resolve any client concerns and complaints by developing viable and fair solutions.
• Report all sales activities to management
• Monitor competition by gathering current information on pricing and products.
• Provide clients with current pricing, product changes, and order status
• Conduct cold calls and visit job sites to pursue new leads
• Work within the framework of the company's policies, procedures and goals.

Minimum Qualifications

• Three (3) years of sales experience in either the tile and stone industry.
• Knowledge of decorative real stone surfaces, composites, and tile
• Flexibility, self-motivation, and drive to meet and exceed sales goals
• Professional Phone, Email, and Computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Positive attitude
• Ability to travel within the designated sales territory
• Drivers License (must provide current MVR)

Pay: $58,616.68 - $68,880.30 per year
