We also serve the non-profit sector and support our clients with additional services including, but not limited to, Human Resources, Legal, Security and Financial.
Our team is growing, and we are looking for a licensed Life, Accident & Health Insurance professional that wants to grow their knowledge and skill with our agency that has a heart to serve others.
Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 1-2 years of employee benefits experience and has worked with Applied (EPIC), Ease and Health Connect programs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Benefits Account Managers when they are unavailable or during peak enrollment periods, including answering client phone calls, responding to information requests by the insured, updating census information in quoting systems.
- Process employer/employee changes and communicate with the insured that the changes have been processed.
- Order replacement ID cards from carriers
- Perform provider searches upon request.
- Customer Service: Day-to-day verbal and written communication with clients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Answer questions regarding coverages, assisting with claims, and policy changes. Scan and attach all documents in the agency management system.
- Maintain account file, policy file, contact information, attachments, activities, claims, etc. in agency system.
- Be available to client, producer, support staff, and management during normal business hours.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge and skills that are required to service the clients effectively.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Maintain Life, Accident & Health Insurance License in the state of California and keep in good standing. Complete continuing education courses as required and on a timely basis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Successful candidates must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills.
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a team environment in a fast-paced and growing professional office environment.
