Showroom and Design Assistant

Are you passionate about home design and helping your team succeed? Do you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and love working with people? Mountain Comfort Furnishings & Design, Summit County's home furnishings leader since 1986, is seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Showroom and Design Assistant.

Duties:

Assist Designers with selecting fabrics, leathers, rugs, window coverings, and furniture from selection to detail tracking to delivery.

Develop presentation mood boards and sketches

Update and maintain Design Books and sample library

Ensure the showroom's immaculate appearance and organization.

Provide exceptional customer service by promptly attending to prioritized tasks.

Requirements:

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Basic math skills for handling financial transactions and inventory management - Ability to effectively communicate and sell products or services

-1-3 years of retail, design or sales, preferably in high-end furniture or window coverings.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite and basic computer competence.

-Autocad, Sketchup or other 3D rendering software experience preferred.

-Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a high-paced environment.

-Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

-Knowledge of interior design software preferred.

Other:

Valid driver's license and physical ability to lift and move furniture and other objects.

MUST be able to work weekends
