Deluxe Garages is looking for an Outside Sales Representative for our Waco Warehouse. This Position will require travel throughout the Waco Region including as far as 2 hours north, west, east and south. We have multiple reps and try to keep driving to a minimum but this is a job that is road based!
Design Consultants are responsible for going to in-home appointments and presenting Deluxe Garages product suite to warm leads. The individual must be able to follow instruction and have great customer service as they will be the main point of contact for our customers until their project is completed.
Key Info
We have a very nice sales process with very clear defined lanes.
- Outside Sales Rep or what we call a Design consultant goes to 15-20 warm lead appointments per week. These leads have told us they want our product, and have given us their name, phone number, email address and address as well as confirmed an in-person appointment with our scheduling team.
- Outside Sales Reps are expected to close a minimum of 30% of those appointments while in the house.
- For the leads, that are not closed, they get moved over to our install sales team which works the deal until they can get a closure. IF the inside sales team gets a close, the Outside Sales rep still gets credit and FULL commission for that sale. Right now about 25% of all closes come from our inside team.
- Design consultants are expected to become experts in Concrete Coatings, Garage Storage and Cabinets.
This is a Wednesday - Sunday Position, OFF on Monday and Tuesday
- Uniforms, tooling and training is provided. Commission is untapped and follows the following format.
- Company Ipads will be issued.
- Product and Samples will be included.
- Gas is paid for using a company gas card.
- Sales Rep must provide their own transportation to the in-home appointments.
Commission Structure:
- 7% on Revenue for Leads Provided
- Additional 1% for completing 'All Steps Complete' requirements.
- 9% for leads generated by the sales rep.
- Potential $$ - 20 Appointments per week at a 30% close rate at our average job price of $3200 means the average commission will be around $1536 a week or 79k a year!
We are looking for someone who is extremely motivated to take ownership of the sales process.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales reports each week and submitting them to management
- Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers
- Update client information in the company contact database (Workiz)
- Follow the sales process and provide accurate quotes to customers in their home.
- Perform in person measurements & provide quotes
- Communicate with customers and make sure they are satisfied with their job.
Qualifications
- Outside sales experience is an plus but we’re open to highly motivated individuals without this
- Must have own vehicle to travel to do in person quotes
- Strong computer skills and understanding of spreadsheet software
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
