As a Sales Associate/Designer you will play an integral role in providing world-class customer service to our local Austin customers at the Four Hands Home Showroom. In This Role


  • Serve as design consultant; develop and strengthen customer relationships through providing customer service and interior design assistance
  • Act as an expert in all Four Hands products, pricing, and systems: utilize product knowledge and design skill to collaborate with customer across the Austin market to support new and develop existing Four Hands customers
  • Execute design plans within customer standards, ensuring consistency and quality of work both in design and deliverables
  • Participate and lead product design presentations to support an exceptional guest experience and sales-driven focus
  • Perform proactive and consistent follow-up with all guests before and after the sale and at delivery
  • Promptly solve guest concerns in a timely manner, with courtesy, respect, and good faith
  • Contribute to a productive working environment with a positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to assist others
  • Prepare daily reconciliation of shipments, deliveries, and customer payments
  • Meet and/or exceed monthly sales goals and target profitability
  • Meet established project deadlines
  • Participate in weekly store meetings to receive information, strategy, and training
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with all outside vendors
  • Collaborate with development and management of outside designer programs
  • Uphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

The Ideal Person


  • 3+ years retail sales/customer service – furniture experience and/or interior design experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Ability to work weekends required
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; PowerPoint required
  • Exceptional sales and customer service skills; driven to achieve sales goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Optimistic, outgoing, energetic personality
