As the Inside Sales Representative you are primarily responsible for providing commercial support for the International Sales Team and sales channel partners in the designated region. Secondary responsibilities involve supporting the domestic team.
This role is instrumental to:
- Increasing market share, revenue growth and customer base by securing installations in targeted applications.
- Directing sales personnel to the proper internal resource for sales, marketing, or technical support.
Hydro-Thermal’s direct steam injection (DSI) systems are used for thermal treatment during physical or chemical processing of raw materials/products while in a liquefied slurry. Typical industries include chemical, food, beverage, grain milling, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, biotech, pulp and paper, wastewater treatment and petrochemical.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the international sales plans that detail programs and strategies to achieve and surpass annual financial goals, business objectives, and personal objectives.
- Assist with increasing Hydro-Thermal “mindshare” with each sales channel partner by providing excellent customer service.
- Work with the International Sales Team and Business Development Engineering to prepare standard quotations and detailed bid proposal packages.
- Collect application information from customers and Industry Sales Managers in the field. Organize information and work with internal resources to develop a complete customer proposal. Proposals must be professional, detailed, organized and logical.
- Ensure that CRM system is utilized appropriately; all information is complete and updated regularly. Document all conversations, contacts, quotes, and application details in SalesLogix.
- Prioritize and Organize work to respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours of receipt and follow up on status of proposals and orders to ensure movement through the sales process efficiently and properly.
- Accept orders and clarify all commercial terms, generate internal order entry forms, and acknowledge receipt of order back to customer.
Required Experienced:
- Between 2-5 years of experience providing customer service or inside sales support for an international or domestic commercial team.
- Successful achievement of increasing annual sales quotas for an international or domestic region.
- Experience with international sales purchase orders and contracts including commercial terms and conditions; letters of credit; certificates of quality and conformance; shipping documents such as bill of lading, certificate of origin, packing lists; pro-forma invoices.
- Proficiency with PC and Windows Operating system, Microsoft Office Suite and SalesLogix, ACT! or similar contact resource management (CRM) software.
Travel Requirements: This position requires minimal travel.
Language Requirements: This position requires fluency in English and secondary language such as Mandarin or Spanish is desirable.
