Position Summary

3SI is headquartered in Malvern, PA and we are currently searching for a Product Manager to join our team! The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Product Management

• Participates in overall product strategy, research and development requirements and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products.
• Meets with internal personnel and/or customers, in-person or virtual, to gather voice of customer and other critical feedback on product features, functionality, user experience and other key attributes of our products or services.
• Prepare and deliver Market and Product Requirements Documents with prioritized features and corresponding justifications.
• Supports sales meetings and demonstrations with technical and product expertise to help deliver against revenue goals.
• Run beta and pilot programs with prototype products.
• Works closely with the Director of PM and Product Specialists to prepare product launch activities and deliver against those tasks for a safe and on-time launch.
• Participate in developing pricing, sales tools, and collateral as part of product launch

2. Market Research

• Conducts market research to develop product definitions and identify market trends.
• Identify thirty party companies and/or products for partnering opportunities to broaden or compliment company's product line.
• Produces competitive analysis materials comparing product with its key competitors.

3. Product Lifecycle and Road Map

• Works with VPM on establishing product lifecycle and roadmap.

4. Global Product Management Support

• Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas in the US and Europe; such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
• Works closely with distributors as needed to support product lines, globally.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by the VPM

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Demonstrated success defining and launching products.
• Examples of at least one sample product requirements, competitive analysis, and product promotional asset they developed in a prior role.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Location technology, web-based portal and/or SaaS technical experience preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Excellent computer, Microsoft Office application and project software skills.
• Moderate travel (approx. 20%)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Product Manager

Additional Comments

• Position is based at our Malvern, PA headquarters, however, it is Hybrid with remote work supported.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $88,904.00 - $124,063.00 per year
