Washington - Could be based out of Seattle, La Conner, Port Orchard, or Port Angeles
2x week, remote/hyrbid in office. Washington to start - if struggle will open to other markets. Travel in market, base in PO, Sodo, LAC, or PA. Hybrid travel as needed. Could travel down to portland 2-3 times a quarter.

Astound Broadband is currently searching for an Sales Event Coordinator. This position is responsible for fostering relationships with cross-functional employees within the Retail, Small Business and Business Development teams and will lead in all planning, coordinating, and overall management to accomplish event goals for the calendar year. This will encompass all cities/surrounding areas served by Wave in the state of Washington. Wave’s presence at these events is specifically designed to bring forth brand awareness and generate incremental RGU sales.
Where you will work:
- Hybrid role with two days per week in the office, opportunity offers the flexibility to work from your home office or a nearby Astound office, or a combination of both
- This position could be based in Astounds Seattle, La Conner, Port Orchard, or Port Angeles, WA office, with the ability to travel into the nearest office and the field as needed
A Day in the Life of the Sales Event Coordinator:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events approved by the Director of Sales.
- May need to attend various community and association functions, including many evening & weekend events.
- Ensure adequate staffing is in place for each event.
- Coordinate set-up, tear-down, raffles where appropriate, promotional give-a-ways, and literature for every community event.
- Establish schematics for how tabletop events should be set-up.
- Manage premium merchandise inventory levels.
- Manage payments, including any ancillary expenses related to the event.
- Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of products, programming and promotional offers.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly productive and prioritizes multiple tasks
- Highly proficient using MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Helps facilitate a harmonious team environment
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn and understand the cable industry, regional communities, and customers
- Recognizes the importance of quality in providing a competitive edge
- Must be able to sit for extended periods
- Must have ability to frequently use repetitive motions of the wrist, hands and/or fingers
- Must be able to work in a standard office environment; no hazardous or disagreeable work condition
- Travel: Must be willing to travel to Washington offices as needed, and potentially to Portland, OR 2-3x a quarter
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent

The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. The base salary range in Washington for this position, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable, is: $26.44 - $33.65/hr.
