POSITION OVERVIEW
Project Manager – Organizational Change Management
6+ Years’ Experience
Full-time, Hybrid at Federal Client Sites in Washington, D.C (2x-3x a week onsite)
In this role, you will serve as Project Manager for a complex organizational change management effort to concurrently implement multiple information technology IT platforms for a diverse user base. The effort will include engagement of senior government executives, developing and executing against project plans, and directing efforts of the change management and training team including, potentially, oversight of subcontractors. Additionally, you will oversee the development and delivery of training programs that will enable end-users to effectively utilize the new systems and processes. This position also requires matrixing across company functional lanes to support business development activities and corporate strategic initiatives. JOB SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate for this position meets the requirements of the position, is comfortable working with a wide array of people and organizational entities, and able to effectively manage projects and staff. Experience with Government professional contracts is a must. Excellent oral and written English communications skills, and interpersonal communication skills are an absolute necessity.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive organizational change management plan that includes stakeholder analysis, communication strategies, training plans, and adoption metrics
  • Engage with all stakeholders, including project team members, business partners, and end-users, to ensure that they are informed and engaged throughout the project
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that project goals are achieved within budget, scope, and timeline constraints
  • Develop and deliver a training strategy and associated programs that will enable end-users to effectively utilize the new systems and processes
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of the organizational change management and training efforts, and make adjustments as necessary
  • Key management activities to include: documenting, identifying, and mitigating risk and issues; ensuring successful completion of project tasks; analyzing items that require escalation; and reviewing and ensuring delivery of quality deliverables; project and company reporting; negotiating tasks and issues with the client, and solves problems; creating and managing project schedule and tasks; and keeping senior management apprised of project performance and issues
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must be flexible, able to work in a highly collaborative environment, and work independently and collaboratively, as needed. Must be able to multi-task. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and superior interpersonal skills are a must.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Technical/Functional Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience managing change management and training efforts for complex projects
  • Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive change management plans, including stakeholder engagement, communication strategies, and adoption metrics
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in the government sector
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing project budgets and timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective training programs that enable end-users to effectively utilize new systems and processes.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
  • Information Technology background
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
  • Prosci Certification a significant preference

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • This position will start in the July/August timeframe
  • Work location is metro DC, primarily remote but some onsite requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain public trust suitability
