Business Development Account Manager/(DHS), (DOD), (HHS)
Tysons, Va.

HumanTouch, LLC is looking for a dynamic go-getter, eager to solve customer challenges and who values relationships and connection.

The Business Development Account Manager is responsible for managing growth for a federal market portfolio (Health IT, Defense and/or Homeland Security). Account Managers are responsible for market strategic planning, relationship management, call planning, sales calls, opportunity identification, capture planning, positioning, proposal development, and oral presentations. You will also work with the in-house program and technical resources for the related solution development, staff planning, and proposal pricing to ensure maximum success.

  • Devise strategies to identify market opportunities
  • Develop and maintain an awareness and understanding of HumanTouch core capabilities, solution offerings, and current/target account multi-year strategy and forecast information
  • Create strong connections to accomplish win-win outcomes toward a shared objective.
  • Provides recommendations on teaming partners and teaming agreements as appropriate for specific opportunities after conducting competitive assessments of particular opportunities.

Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years of information technology or mission-focused professional services experience in the federal government sector
  • 5+ years of proven business development experience in the Federal government that includes

o Proven market expansion and growth experience

o Familiarity with the target market ecosystem; i.e., contract vehicles, clients, vendor presence and associated reputations within the agency(s)

o Experience leveraging association memberships, conference and events strategically to build business

  • The candidate must be a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
