Full description of the position

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Director of Business Development will be responsible for increasing company revenue by identifying and developing new business opportunities as well as expanding brand presence. They lead cross-functional teams, manage existing partnerships, and evaluate company business goals. The Director of Business Development will also oversee client-relationship management and sales.
JOB SUMMARY:
  • Generate new business opportunities and grow existing accounts to fuel our growth.
  • Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth.
  • Works closely with other members of the executive team to ensure that the company’s overall strategy is aligned with its business development goals.
  • Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives.
  • Researching prospective accounts in target markets.
  • Identify trends and client needs to develop new business opportunities.
  • Responsible for heavy reporting in terms of Gross Profit, Client profitability, Team profitability, and more.
  • Consistently monitors and manages the financial and operating performance of the sales team.
  • Analyze trends and projects weekly, quarterly, and annual revenue.
  • Provides leadership and supervision to the entire team within this division.
  • Constantly monitors and engages the sales market through competitive analysis, client interactions, and other initiatives as appropriate.
  • Partners internally with the Marketing team to develop strategies around this platform.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of sales plans.
  • Performs other duties as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Working and understanding sales principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to function well in a fast pace sometimes stressful environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with approving ability to meet deadlines.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have excellent computer and technical skills and knowledge of report writing software.
  • Must have good problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Must have strong leadership and managerial skills.
  • Must have good negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Must have good conflict resolution skills.
  • Must be bilingual.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
  • Receives supervision from the CEO. The position has formal responsibility and authority.
  • Must complete jobs without constant supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • The principal duties of this position are to perform in an indoor and outdoor environment.
  • Traveling required.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
  • This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP Services, LLC has a Drug Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business.
  • Must have 7+ years of sales experience.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Other: Valid Drivers’ License Class C.
