Elizabeth Companies is a leading provider of compression technologies and specialty components and services to the pharmaceutical, battery, powdered metal, energy and power, automotive and the metal forming industries.
We are hiring for a Field Sales Representative for the Northeast USA region. This is a remote position with the candidate located in Eastern NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, or VT. Our corporate headquarters is in McKeesport, PA.
Summary:
The salesperson is responsible to attract and develop sales of all company products within the assigned domestic territory. It will be incumbent upon the Salesperson to become knowledgeable in all product lines and services offered by the company. The Salesperson will be responsible for the implementation of selling strategies in accordance with company-wide priorities. The Salesperson shall regularly report upon territory activities, customer news, and competitor news to appropriate Elizabeth personnel.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand / manage / grow overall sales of all product lines for assigned territories.
- Regular customer visits and travel within assigned territory; averaging 40-50% of time.
- Establish and grow positive relationships between customers and Elizabeth.
- Effectively communicate differentiated sales arguments to all customers.
- Recommend to sales management and participate in development of customer growth strategies.
- Understanding and utilization of company sales reports to grow territory sales.
- Actively participate in on-going skills development and product training.
- Collect and communicate customer, competitor, and market information.
- Participation in assigned industry trade shows.
Eligibility Qualifications
Education: 4-yr Bachelor of Science Degree preferably in technical discipline.
Experience: 3-5 years selling experience within industrial based markets.
Skills:
- Sound critical thinking and communication (written and oral) skills.
- Strong initiative and self-reliance.
- Bilingual Spanish / English desirable.
- Effective negotiation and development of persuasive arguments.
- Demonstrated proficiency with PC-based tools (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to travel via air or car. Driver’s license required.
- Variances in regular schedule, extensive travel and overtime may be required as job duties demand.
Travel: 40-50% - Location is Northeast USA (Eastern NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, ME, VT)
Ability to work remotely.
Salary: $70,000.00 per year
