Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced NGS Services Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by promoting and selling Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) services to customers in the life sciences and healthcare industries. You will actively engage with existing and potential clients, build strong relationships, and effectively communicate the value of our NGS services. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of NGS technologies, exceptional sales and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth for NGS services.
- Identify and target potential customers within the life sciences and healthcare industries who can benefit from NGS services.
- Actively prospect and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, industry conferences, and referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, serving as a trusted advisor and key point of contact.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to educate customers on the features, benefits, and applications of our NGS services.
- Understand customer needs and tailor sales proposals to effectively address their requirements and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technical support, and project management, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts regularly.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and advancements in NGS technologies to effectively position our services in the market.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to network, promote our services, and stay connected with key stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biotechnology, genetics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the life sciences or healthcare industry, preferably in the NGS or genomics sector.
- Strong knowledge of Next-Generation Sequencing technologies, applications, and data analysis workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs, propose solutions, and close sales deals.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to track leads, manage customer relationships, and generate reports.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers, attend conferences, and represent the company.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in the life sciences industry, including CLIA, CAP, and ISO 15189, is a plus.

Pay: $123,578.71 - $150,000.00 per year
