Full description of the position

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Account Manager.

Position Overview: As the Account Manager, you will work closely with the Director of Sales, Education, and the team to execute effective sales and marketing strategies. Your primary focus will be to establish, implement, and drive revenue growth while supporting the vision of the company.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies targeting the K12 Sector and other learning environments in Central and Eastern NC, from Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill to the NC coast.
  • Pursue leads from various sources, including sales representatives, inquiries through the Storr website, A&D leads, and real estate representatives.
  • Establish and nurture networking relationships within the education market to generate new leads.
  • Actively engage in key trade organizations relevant to the education sector.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of all sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with design, project management, and other departments to deliver successful projects to customers.
  • Acquire and maintain comprehensive product knowledge for learning environments, including classrooms and administrative spaces.
  • Familiarize yourself with Storr Education's value proposition, capabilities, and service offerings.
  • Work alongside marketing and design teams to develop winning presentations and proposals.
  • Formulate pricing strategies and negotiate with manufacturers, ensuring competitive proposals.
  • Assist in strategizing for large opportunities in coordination with Storr management.

Education and Experience:

  • Possess 3-5 years of successful B2B sales or business experience, preferably in a related industry.
  • Be open to 25-50% local travel.
  • Hold a BS/BA degree from an accredited University (preferred).
  • Showcase proven organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Demonstrate exceptional sales and target marketing expertise.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Language, Mathematical, and Reasoning Skills:

  • Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals effectively.
  • Capable of presenting information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public in a compelling manner.
  • Competent in mathematical computations and interpretations, including rate, ratio, and percent calculations.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

  • Must hold a valid North Carolina driver's license.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and product instructions.
  • Proficient in communicating with customers via phone.
  • This position may require overtime and weekend work.
