Inside Sales – Aftermarket


Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with inside and outside sales team to prepare quotes and create sales orders
  • Identify and source products based on direct inquiries from customers or from the from the outside sales team
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers
  • Support all aspects of sales: pre and post sales inquiries over the phone, and emails.
  • Follow through with executing all order fulfillment procedures via SAP.
  • Providing general administrative support as needed.
  • Receive orders and initiate the sales order process within SAP
  • Send order confirmations to customers
  • Purchase parts from sub-suppliers via SAP purchase order process
  • Creates generic packing lists and provides to sub-suppliers
  • Track and expedite shipping as needed to customer
  • Receive proof of delivery of part to customer
  • Approve payment to vendor
  • Send invoices to customers via SAP

Occasional Requirements
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Inspection of goods received from vendors
  • Project management of contract service work – billing customer, approving invoices
  • Intercompany communication and work – receipt of PO’s and sending PO’s
  • Import goods using HS codes and required gov’t importing paperwork, commercial invoices
  • Dig up old capital projects to find previous purchase orders or technical documentation for new RFQ
  • Prepare 2 yrs spare parts list for new capital installations
  • Receives UPS/FEDEX packages
  • Answers lobby phone for unscheduled visitors
  • Prepares monthly reports for quotes sent, new orders received, open orders
