Job Description
Shurm Homes seeks an Assistant New Home Sales Manager to provide immediate and exceptional customer service to prospective new home buyers as well as assist the Sales Manager to recruit, train and manage a team of realtors and in-house sales associates, use a CRM system, research and analyze market conditions, and set and achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals. Assist to engage and manage an outside marketing firm and align company marketing with sales goals as well as oversee all online social media platforms.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities| Assist the New Home Sales Manager in:
- Set-up and standardize policies and procedures in the sales department within Shurm Homes.
- Point of contact for all customers pre-contract with a same day return email, phone call, etc. policy as well as assisting customers while selecting their dream home.
- Responsible for collaborating on all sales packets and marketing literature.
- Manage all incoming sales leads and inquiries.
- Recruit, train, manage, hold weekly team meetings and be the point of contact for the sales team consisting of realtors and in-house sales associates.
- Implement and manage a Build on Your Lot program.
- Oversee realtor sales within each neighborhood.
- Inspect and spot check all neighborhoods, models and spec homes as well as monitor open houses.
- Implement market-wide programs for grand openings, community reviews, and prospecting events.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office a must and Mark Systems (IHMS) Software a PLUS!
- Knowledge and understanding of CRM software to generate sales and manage customers a MUST.
- Admin for both local and Williamsburg MLS.
- Enter and maintain MLS listings as needed including on spot lot builds.
- Knowledge and understanding of residential real estate sale contracts a MUST.
- Conduct all business professionally and ethically as a representative of Shurm Homes.
- Be a team player providing support and cross training for all other departments.
- Customer service oriented- must be patient, professional and courteous.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Self-Starter with great organizational skills and time management skills.
- Knowledge of current design trends in Richmond and nationally a plus.
- Fast learner and willingness to learn and able to multi-task and establish priorities.
Education Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Currently working as a New Home Sales Associate or Assistant Manager with a minimum of 5 years sales experience.
