Full description of the position

Provides dedicated and outstanding support to external and internal customers to ensure satisfaction, retention, and renewal revenue.
Job Description:
  • Passion to develop knowledge of Bloomberg Industry Group's products, pricing, business requirements, policies, procedures, and systems, and ability to apply that knowledge to determine appropriate response to client needs.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and a variety of people at all levels inside and outside Bloomberg Industry Group.
  • Excellent oral communication skills (including diction and grammar) and active listening skills, as necessary to communicate and advise others on issues that are complex and/or sensitive in nature.
  • Excellent business writing skills including knowledge of business English, vocabulary, punctuation, grammar, and spelling, including the ability to present information that requires origination, organization, exposition, judgment, and/or persuasion.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform advanced research that involves interpretation and analysis from a variety of sources, including sources and/or data that need to be developed.
  • Demonstrated ability to use PC-based word processing, spreadsheet, and database software effectively.
  • Available for limited travel.
Education:
  • College level coursework in business, marketing, and/or subjects related to Bloomberg Industry Group services or equivalent experience is required.
Experience:
  • A minimum of two years experience working with products, pricing, business requirements, policies, procedures, and/or systems in a consultative customer support role, is required.
  • Experience using PC-based word processing , spreadsheet, and database software is required.
