Overview
Assist clients via warm leads to educate, provide quotes and sell Personal Insurance (auto, home/renters/condo and umbrella insurance) This is done by demonstrating advantages of our company's products, services and benefits while also overcoming objections to purchase.
Job Duties
The Wm. Schwartz & Company Auto & Home Inbound Sales team is responsible for interacting with current and prospective clients via the telephone. Through these interactions, Inbound Sales Representatives build deep and meaningful relationships that will result in the retention of existing and newly acquired clients. As the relationship is established, our sales team recommends and sells products and services to help our clients maximize their insurance resources to meet their goals.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Quote and sell automobile, homeowners and umbrella insurance products. Follow-up on missing information to close insurance sales via phone or email to prospective clients.
- Attend required training and continuing education requirements to maintain active Property Casualty licenses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Candidates will be required to have their Property & Casualty license day of hire.
- Training and continuing education credits will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-Secondary education.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills.
- Prior experience within a contact center or customer service.
- Ability and attitude to thrive in a high-paced, metric driven environment.
- Previous 3 plus years of sales experience in this type of position a plus!
