Laboratory Sales Associate

Summary:
LabTech, Inc. is looking for a self-motivated, energetic, sales engineer to sell laboratory instruments and equipment into all kinds of laboratories. A science background with sales experience is required.

Job description:

1. Contact customers to promote and to achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales revenue targets.

2. Develop and implement appropriate sales strategies and techniques to target appropriate customers, understand and confirm needs, overcome objections and gain commitment.

3. Conduct effective sales and product presentations to customers.

4. Maintain and grow existing business and develop new business opportunities.

5. Develop and maintain good customer relationships, through personal visits and telephone contact.

6. File weekly reports, monthly reports, competitive product reports, etc. in a timely manner.

7. Attend trade shows and conventions to promote products.

8. Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related majors.

• Strong presentation, analytical and customer service skills complimented by an aggressive, solutions oriented sales approach.

• Ability to understand lab sample preparation procedures

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to initiate, establish, and maintain effective customer relations.

• Ability to represent LabTech and its products in a professional manner.

• Strong motivation to reach and exceed targeted goals

• Must be SELF-STARTER and motivated to find new accounts
