Vega Transport strives to be a premier trucking company with great attention to customer service and driver quality of life.

Vega Transport is a growing full service, nationwide Truck Load (TL) carrier. Our team is committed to delivering our customer loads on time, damage free and always with the highest level of service at time of booking, during transit and after the delivery. Currently we operate with 125 drivers and over 350 units of equipment out of our Granite City Terminal & Warehouse. Our headquarters is located in Saint Louis, MO and staffed with 18 great team members.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect, build and maintain a wide customer base with persistence and consistency.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and create solutions for Customers.
• Always deliver timely results and exceed customers expectations.
• Develop relationships with Customers and serve as their primary point of contact for all questions and issues.
• Be operationally oriented,build loads, resolve issues and secure capacity for the freight.
• Source freight lanes that will maximize all aspects of the value triangle (profitability, customer satisfactions and driver retention).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Preferable 2 years truckload sales experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation, persuasion skills.
• Team-oriented
• Conflict Resolution skills
• Ability to handle criticism and find solutions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
